Bavo De Smedt (‘28) says, “I’m excited that they’re adding something so new and interactive to the game because past updates have been very repetitive.” In addition, Parker Everly (‘28) said, “I like the new map. Also, the new POIs are interesting, but it is the graphics and the references [to the show] that really do it for me,” when he was asked about the topic.
Fortnite could be entering a new prime as Fortnitemares, the last Halloween season, was, likewise, loved by fans and creators unanimously. The developers also announced that this winter, the game will go back to OG season 7, first released in December 2018, for the Winterfest 2025 update. Many fans, having sentimental value and nostalgia for this old era of Fortnite, can’t wait to play over the upcoming holidays. People love the Christmas vibe of Fortnite over winter break. Epic Games normally goes all out, adding snow and many other wintery features. They also give out free rewards and cosmetics during the giving season, which excites many fans and players alike.
