On Friday, the Pembroke Hill Raiders took down Kipp-Endeavor Academy Gators 2-0. And, no, it was not a soccer game; it was a thrilling game of football!
A score of 2-0 has only happened 5 times in the history of professional football; the last time it occurred was in a 1938 showdown between the Chicago Bears and the Green Bay Packers.
The Raider’s sole points were scored in the second quarter when Ajhi Briscoe blocked a punt and the Raider’s tackled the opposing team in their own endzone.
After that, the game was held scoreless. The Raider’s offense couldn’t get the ball moving because of the injuries sustained on their O-line, but the defense held onto the lead!
